Project Description* (MAX 3000 Words allowed)
Project Description: PreserveCheck - Empowering Healthier Dietary Choices through MSG Detection Background: In the ever-evolving landscape of the modern food industry, ensuring the safety and quality of the products we consume is of paramount importance. One such concern relates to the presence of Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) in food products. While MSG is a widely used flavor enhancer, its consumption can lead to adverse health effects for some individuals. Recognizing the significance of this issue, the "PreserveCheck" project was conceived to provide an innovative solution that empowers consumers to make informed, healthier dietary choices by detecting MSG in food products. Objectives: The "PreserveCheck" project is anchored in a set of clear and ambitious objectives, each of which contributes to addressing the problem of MSG detection: Reliable MSG Detection: The primary objective is to develop a reliable method for the detection of MSG in food products. This is crucial in ensuring that consumers can trust the products they consume. User-Friendly Device: "PreserveCheck" aims to create a user-friendly device that makes MSG detection accessible to individuals of all ages, ensuring inclusivity and ease of use.
